རྒྱུན་གཏོར་, torma that always stays on the altar

The perpetual torma (རྟག་གཏོར་) which is kept for special durations, months and years, in the manner of shrine offering, can be of two types. The first is the sadhana torma (སྒྲུབ་གཏོར་), also called offering torma (མཆོད་གཏོར་), which is presented to the deities at the time of making offerings. The other is the mending torma (སྐང་གཏོར་) which is given in the manner of manifold sense-pleasures.
