[etymologically, = ye nas shes pa] The subject which knows the Realm of Dharmas, the Dharmaity, insofar as it may be said that there is a subject in this context. It is the result of purifying the obscurations due to knowables (dharmas), acc. to MahAyAna. Unlike Total Knowledge, self-engendered Total Knowledge ( རང་བྱུང་ཡེ་ཤེས) cannot even in the least be assigned to the subjective sphere. It = Clear Light Bodhicitta.
